About Yad-Marpe
Yad-Marpe Physiotherapists are a team of professional and highly-skilled physiotherapists and administrative staff who are passionate about improving their patients’ quality of life.
Our objective is to provide our patients with the best possible therapy and care. To achieve this we have committed to continuously train and develop our staff to equip them for service excellence.
The company “Yad-Marpe Physiotherapist” was established in September 2010, based at N1 City Hospital situated at N1 City, Goodwood, Cape Town, RSA.
In September 2018 we established another remote practice in Namibia, based at Ongwediva Medipark Hospital, a private hospital situated in the North of Namibia (60km away from the Angolan border). We also provide a service to the state hospital in Oshakati, Namibia.
Shortly thereafter in 2019/2020, Remote monthly-weekend clinics to Ondjiva, Angola, were started as we noticed the increasing need for rehabilitation services identified in Angola.
In Namibia(Ongwediva) and the south of Angola (Ondjiva), Yad-Marpe opened a new branch Yad-Marpe Physiotherapists Africa that fed school children via a soup kitchen, started a vegetable garden and arranged clothing for school kids, solar lamps for matriculants and care packages girls.

Meaning of the name
Yad: Hands of God
Marpe: Healing
God’s Healing hands, we are just the vessels and instruments for His healing and Glory.
We build relationships and restore lives.
Our Approach
Three pronged – We believe that the human has a spirit, body and mind. A holistic approach and integration of these three systems is vital to healing and recovery.
- The Spirit: requires of us to see the patient first as a person who has spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Sometimes an attentive empathetic ear, a hug, smile, words of encouragement, a prayer or just sharing a cup of tea/coffee and relationship building is all they need to heal.
- Physical Body: functions poorly if we are in pain and if we are unfit. If you are an athlete, you will need a physiotherapist who understands kinesiology, your sport code and how dysfunction can affect your performance. An employee with a dysfunctional workstation requires ergonomic advice to prevent the problem from recurring.
- Mind: Calm professional staff with attention to friendliness, top-level customer care (going the extra mile), honest billing, caring hearts and handpicked personnel who subscribes to all the above.
Our Vision
- To Establish Yad-Marpe as a practice through which God’s kingdom reigns.
- So that we can impart and impact people’s lives for their own good.
- We will build relationships and restore lives.
