Chad joined Yad-Marpe in 2014 as a Locum, and became a permanent member of the team in February 2015. He graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Physiotherapy.
His love for healing bodies started at an early age, whilst he played soccer in his community. He was intrigued by the medical teams he encountered.
At Yad-Marpe he consults and treats a variety of patients and conditions, and has a passion for relieving neck and lower back pain. He is qualified to perform various treatments including soft tissue therapy, orthopaedic techniques, electrotherapy, dry needling, kinesio-taping and strapping, as well as facilitating the completion of specific rehabilitation programs.
He believes in not only treating the injury but also in educating his patients regarding their lifestyle choices. He offers ergonomic advice and works to address the factors that caused the injury in the first place.
He enjoys anything that gets his adrenaline going, activities such as zip-linning, sky-diving and paragliding. Chad also hopes to travel more.
